Is gritted and has a funny smell. Trying to get passed the smell.

Thanks for letting us know! Here’s a quick fix for that gritty texture:
1. Scoop the butter: Use a spatula to transfer the gritty butter to a microwave-safe dish.
2. Melt it: Microwave for 15 seconds, stir, and repeat until fully melted. Don’t overheat!
3. Cool slightly: Let it sit for 2 minutes.
4. Refill & chill: Pour it back into the original container and place it in the fridge (without the lid) for 1–2 hours.

After that, your face cream should be smooth and ready to use!

The Cleopatra face cream is amazingly smooths on and melts into my skin like a dream. This is my first time trying tallow anything and if this is what I’ve been missing I’m not going back! The scent is really nice, sort of nostalgic, reminds me of a vintage cold cream scent which I personally find really soothing and pretty. I’d definitely reorder.
